WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a non-invasive ancient form of therapy that can help in promoting deep relaxation, well-being and by reducing stress in peoples lives. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that the systems and organs of the whole body are mirrored or reflected in smaller peripheral areas of the foot. Applying pressure to certain reflex points on the feet can help release energy blockages and restore balance in the body.
Reflexology does not claim to cure or diagnose, however studies have shown that some conditions can benefit from reflexology to include: headaches and migraines, sinus problems, sleeping disorders, depression as well as digestion disorders to name a few. Reflexology is also one of the most popular types of complementary therapies used in the UK among people with cancer, some evidence showing it can help with pain, relaxation, stress and anxiety as well as lifting mood and feeling of well being.
Prior to your first treatment, I will conduct a health and lifestyle consultation, lasting around 30 minutes which will include a discussion about your medical history and detailing your past and present conditions. This will also highlight any contraindications.
All information provided will be kept confidential.
My sessions with you will be holistic, with consideration to your health and lifestyle and overall well-being. Once you have received your first treatment and depending on sensitive or tender areas of your foot, a treatment plan will be tailored to meet your individual needs and to balance and strengthen the body’s systems to encourage the body’s own healing.
Reflexology is a wonderful therapy for helping your journey through the menopause. Symptoms such as hot flushes, increased perspiration, night sweats, headaches, dizziness, mood changes, digestive disturbances, and short-term memory can make a massive impact on our lives.
Reflexology can help to regulate the peripheral nervous system, this can be achieved by stimulating the pituitary gland the hypothalamus and the thymus reflex points it can make some of the changes in your body more bearable and relieve the stress and tension that can cause so many side-effects.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is a specialist reflexology technique which stimulates specific lymphatic reflexes on the feet. RLD is a very effective way to stimulate the body to reduce swelling, clear toxins and blockages as well as to boost our ability to fight infection.
RLD is an award winning reflexology treatment, researched through extensive clinical practice by award winning Sally Kay BSc (Hons) in complementary therapies.

Hi my name is Debs and I would like to welcome you to my website. I hope you can find the information you need, if not, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Having gone through life changing experiences, I began to look at the effects of stress on the human body and how holistic therapies can help aid the road to recovery, both physically and emotionally.
I began my journey in 2011, training initially as a reflexologist working predominantly on a voluntary basis at a hospice in Exeter. I felt very privileged to bring some comfort to people at the end of life and realise the enormous effects that reflexology has for general well being, alleviating at times stress, fear, anxiety and physical problems. I further went on to run my own reflexology business whilst living in Devon. In May this year, I returned to my home town of Street, where I will now be holding my clinics.
I feel very passionate about what I do and the positive and powerful impact reflexology can offer. Through my work as a reflexologist and my constant personal and professional development, I have supported people to help and continue on their journey of increased health and well being.
I am a member of The Association of Reflexologists, committed to a high professional standard of service and adhere to a code of practice and continuing professional development.
I am a specialist trained in Reflexology for Menopause.

I had my first ever reflexology session with Debs today. It was a wonderful experience. I felt more relaxed than I have done in a while. Debs is a great practitioner and has the ability to create a calm and confident atmosphere. She is able to make very clear and accurate observations about oneself and offer helpful ideas going forward. I can thoroughly recommend her.
The best reflexology I’ve ever had. I’ve been having reflexology for the past 10+ years and having moved to the area recently I found Debs online and had a lovely hour session which left me feeling relaxed, well informed and also confident on how to get the most of treatment once at home.
I will definitely be going back to Debs and having some more reflexology.
I had a few treatments with Deb and I was very impressed with her knowledge and accuracy in detecting problems.
Deb has a warm and welcoming manner and will make you feel relaxed, before and during treatment.
